MICROSORBER® film accommodates within the Orangerie manor gardens the requirements of a building, historical monument, and show venue.
800m² of MICROSORBER translucent film mounted in a double layer.
Completed in 1723, the Orangerie housed trays of plants during the winter season until 1969. In 2012, €3 million was spent on renovating this listed building. Nowadays the Orangerie is exclusively used for cultural events, so optimal acoustics and atmosphere are essential. To the delight of artists and spectators, 800m² of MICROSORBER translucent film was fixed in 9m double layer sections across the existing fixtures with luminous benches. The films are discreetly integrated in the ceiling and reduce reverberation time.
