The large translucent and printed MICROSORBER® films of the Banque de France auditorium are an eye-catcher.
106m² of translucent MICROSORBER double layer film
In order to minimise reverberation time and the phenomenon of flutter echo, 106 m² of translucent film was mounted, in double layers, on the sides during construction of this prestigious auditorium. Each film facing the space has also been printed with reproductions of the painting on the Golden Gallery's ceiling. The motifs consist of 28 backlit films per side. The MICROSORBER films have helped reduce reverberation time and the floating echo, while combining modern elements to the history of the Banque de France.
