Acoustic absorption system
MICROSORBER® by Barrisol® is a system for improving acoustic comfort in public and private spaces, using a transparent micro-perforated sheet. In contact with the sheet, the air movement induced by a sound source is partially absorbed thanks to the micro-perforation.
Reverberation and noise levels are significantly reduced.
The MICROSORBER® sound absorption principle makes it possible to respond to the constraints of places where acoustic comfort is paramount, such as restaurants, swimming pools, production sites or entrance halls, without limiting the creativity of architects and designers.
MICROSORBER® can be installed on ceilings or opposite glass walls and facades, and easily dismantled.
Translucent, UV-resistant finish
The MICROSORBER® by Barrisol® system offers a range of translucent finishes, as well as antistatic and UV-resistant treatment.
It is therefore ideal for installation against a wall or glass facade, as well as on a ceiling.

The films can be installed in a variety of ways, in single or double layers, and at spacings to be defined by the design office.

The Microsorber® system from Barrisol® significantly improves acoustics in public and private spaces, thanks to a system of transparent micro-perforated sheets. This fabric acts by partially absorbing the air movement generated by sound, thus reducing the reverberation effect and improving sound comfort.
Microsorber® offers a range of translucent finishes, treated to be anti-static and UV-resistant. Its ability to be mounted against a wall/ceiling or glass façade makes it extremely versatile, while preserving the architectural aesthetics of the space. The fabric can even be printed, offering additional creative freedom.
The system is CE-certified, meeting fire safety standards with a B-S1,d0 classification. Custom-designed fastening systems can be adapted for both walls and ceilings.
